The opening weekend of the Hampshire Cricket league saw the 1st XI lose to South Wilts, and wins for the 2nd XI against Hambledon and the 3rd XI at Rowner.
A good start to the season for the 2nds and 3rds with plenty more to come as the player pool is strengthened with the return of Alex Adams and Mike Boyd to the 1st XI for this coming weekend. Early performances with bat and ball across the three teams will give confidence for the season ahead. The performance of the week being Paul Mac with 119 not out.
Week 2 sees the 1st XI looking for a win at home to Midhurst, the 2nd XI away at Fair Oak and the 3rd XI on the Green to Burridge.
