As part of Locks Heath Cricket Club's plans to achieve ECB Southern Electric Premier League accreditation in 2009 we have signed up to the ECB Natwest Cricket Force Weekend.

NatWest CricketForce 2008 attracted a record 1375 clubs (225 up on 2007), 85,000 volunteers (5,000 up on 2007) and an estimated £35-£40 million in cash and kind (an increase of up to £5million on the previous year).
NatWest CricketForce encourages cricket supporters, their friends and families to give something back to their local community cricket club by volunteering to undertake major renovations to clubhouses and grounds.
NatWest CricketForce 2009 will take place on the weekend of April 3, 4 and 5 2009.
A fuller plan of what we intend to achieve on the weekend will be published here soon. As a brief overview the intention is an over haul of the playing area and facilities, to include a renovation of the sight screen and practice areas, improving the space for friends, families and players who wish to stay and watch an afternoons cricket. Invest time into the playing surface as part of ongoing work to bring the playing surface upto SEPL standards, and gerenal maintanence of the surroundings of the ground.
In the meantime if you wish to register an interest in taking part, investing time, or whether you or your company are able to help out through sponsorship either financial or by donating equipment or resources please get in contact here.
