Saturday 4rd April will be the annual grounds day at Locks Heath Cricket Club. This is your opportunity to get involved with your club and come and get the environment you play your cricket in ready for the coming season ahead.
This year the jobs we want to achieve are
1. Repair the matting in the nets.
2. Erect the nets.
3. Repair and paint the sight screens.
4. Clean the artificial wicket.
5. Repair areas of worn pitch with new turf.
6. Build a bin store.
7. General maintenance to the club house and surrounds, such as fixing guttering, new locks etc
8. Make covers for the drain and outside tap which lie with the pitch boundary.
9. Clear all the rubbish and old kit that is lying around the corners of the ground.
In order to achieve all this we need as many of you as possible to come and lend a hand, be it for an hour or two or all day, please turn up ready to help. If every body comes and helps we will be able to achieve our goals and have a pleasant well maintained environment to play cricket.
We hope to see you there from 9:30 on the 4th.
